The Holgaroid | Super lo-fi analogue goodness

It’s funny. As professional photographers we spend a small fortune on top of the line professional equipment that makes most camera enthusiasts drool, but on my day off I want to take photos with anything but my work gear. Generally the more ancient or different the camera is, the bigger kick I get out of shooting with it. I particularly love using old polaroid cameras, so when I recently had the opportunity to get a Holga with a polaroid back I found that I just couldn’t resist. The alluring combination of the Holga’s low cost, uberplastic build and the fun of instant film meant the Holgaroid just had to be added to the camera bag. Bring on the analogue goodness!
