A) No, sorry. We are wedding photographers, not videographers, and we use the techniques of stop motion animation and time lapse photography to create our wedding films.

A) During the day we concentrate on capturing your wedding in still photographs, while at the same time we use other remote cameras to gather footage for your film. At different times of the day we’ll shoot images purely for the wedding film, but our primary goal is always to capture beautiful still images. A) For most of the year Chasing Summer is based in Tamworth, and we travel all over NSW for weddings! With our central location we service regional areas including Armidale, Gunnedah, Tenterfield, Inverell and Glen Innes as well as the Upper Hunter Valley. We are often on the coast shooting weddings in Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, South West Rocks and as far South as Newcastle. We are also available for destination weddings - Contact us for details

A) The normal duration of our films is between three and four minutes for weddings, and two and three minutes for engagement sessions and lifestyle shoots. They feature over 1000 images and are timed to match a single song for a high intensity viewing experience which your audience won’t be able to turn off.

A) Generally not. All of our songs need to be licensed for commercial use, and popular songs are normally very difficult to obtain rights for use. We select and licence a song for your film based upon the flow of the film, and what we think goes well with the images.

A) Upon delivery of your image disk we include the film embedded in a format that will play on your computer, and will allow you to upload it to your iPhone or other device. We also provide the film as a finished DVD for display in HD on your television. Finally, with your consent we will upload your film to our online Vimeo channel, for you to link and share with friends and family via email, Facebook and Twitter.

A) Yes! During your engagement shoot we can make an amazing and creative “Save the Date” film that you will be so excited to share with family and friends! Talk to us about your plans and together we will make something wonderful happen!

A) When you choose to add Moving Pictures to your wedding collection it automatically extends your wedding day coverage to full day coverage. That means we start at dawn and photograph until you leave the reception. The extra time means we have the ability to let our ideas run wild, as well as capture all of the little details that make up a wedding day. Make sure to include us in your catering as we’ll be hungry!

A) Unfortunately no. The nature of the filmmaking process means that the still photographer and the photographer shooting the frames for your animation need to work very closely together to get good results. We feel that the integrity of both elements (still photography and film) would be jeopardised by using two different providers.

A) Including Moving Pictures in your engagement shoot or lifestyle shoot costs $400, and wedding day coverage starts at $400 depending upon your selected collection.
